The outside world is filled with the plight of man, suffering through the daily mundane or facing the harsh realities of existence through disaster, unemployment and poverty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any growing society finds a way to help the underprivileged through philanthropy, charity or volunteer work which spreads awareness and educates people on the current situation along with providing a general education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schools are usually a very protected zone which does not provide the full picture of the world we live in. This sort of protection is beneficial in many ways as it keeps the students focused on learning rather than fending for themselves or engaging in harsh realities. But along with an education it is also important to spread awareness and prepare students for the real world. These institutions are always looking for volunteers who through the goodness of their hearts are willing to step up and do the work on the ground level. This is a great space for students to learn about life and also gain much awareness of what is going on in the world. Volunteer work does instill a good sense of community and can be psychologically rewarding for people who volunteer thus spreading love and peace through the community.
